Comfort Station - All 40 Camper & RV Sites with Full Service: septic, electricity, water and phone hook-ups plus firepit & picnic table - Hiking trails from the Campground connect directly to the Island's web of hiking trails on the back end of the Island. You can go anywhere - from the spectacular 300' cliffs to Dark Harbour, where the Island's famous Dulse is harvested, or to one of the many secluded ponds and brooks for a little fishing, or Southern Head Lighthouse where you can see Maine in the distance. - There are ATV trails leading from the campground - Play area for the youngsters near the laundromat and washrooms so kids can play as parents do their laundry or showering etc. - Birdwatching - for which the Island is famous, there are many birdwatching stations along the trails - so do bring your binoculars, scopes or cameras - there are over 300 bird species frequenting Grand Manan - it's a birders' paradise! - Stay at the campground and relax.
